Waldemar Kasinow

President of the Management Board

Appointed the President of the Management Board in January 2020. In the years 2001-2018 he was the Vice President of the Management Board responsible for the finance and information technology department.

Waldemar Kasinow has been associated with the financial market since 1993, when he started working as an IT specialist at Financial Services LTD – a company that acted as a transfer agent for funds managed by Pioneer PPTFP SA.

In the years 1994–1997 he managed the development of IT systems and was responsible from the IT side for launching services for Eurofunds managed by Pekao / Alliance TFP SA. For a year he also worked at Korona TFI SA, managing the IT Department.

In the years 1998–2001 in Pioneer Financial Services Waldemar Kasinow was responsible for the launch and supporting operations of Pioneer Open Pension Fund. From 1999, as Vice President, he managed all operational activities in this company, also being responsible for transferring service to Pekao Financial Services in 2001.

Graduate of the Faculty of Precision Mechanics at the Warsaw University of Technology.

Wojciech Bury

Appointed for the position of the Vice President of the Management Board in May 2021.

Associated with the financial market since the beginning of his professional career.

In the years 1995-2000 he worked at the National Depository for Securities, the Central Table of Offers and the BRE Bank Investment House. He participated in the launch of over-the-counter trading for small companies, led the team supporting clients using the online platform for trading in securities listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

In the years 2000-2001, he created caibon.com Internet Services in Poland, the Internet branch of the CA~IB Bank that supports clients who invest funds on the WSE.

With the Bank Pekao S.A. Group he has been associated since 2002. He was the leader of the Multichannel Project, the result of which was the launch and implementation of the Pekao24 service, a multi-channel electronic banking. In the years 2002-2010, he created and developed the Electronic Banking Center, whose task was to develop electronic banking services and channels, telephone customer service, sales support and credit monitoring.

In 2010-2021, he developed the Direct Banking Center, now Pekao Direct, acting on the company’s management board. He was responsible for supporting the sales processes of banking products, servicing SME and Corporate clients, telephone debt collection and IT. He was responsible for replacing the IT platform for telephone customer service of Bank Pekao S.A.

He is a graduate of the Faculty of Finance and Statistics of the Warsaw School of Economics.

Krzysztof Borowczyk

Member of the Management Board

Appointed to the position of a Member of the Board in May 2019.

Associated with the financial market since 2001. He started his professional career as a financial analyst at the Economic and Actuarial Department of PZU Życie. Then associated with the Planning and Controlling Department in PZU and PZU Życie, most recently as a Manager of Cost Control Team.

In 2017-2019 Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Tower Inwestycje Sp. z o.o. (PZU Group company).

He is a graduate of the University of Economics in Warsaw and completed post-graduate studies in the management of an insurance company at the Warsaw School of Economics and post-graduate managerial studies in the field of IT project management at the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw.
